Acceptable Use Policy

Cylindricle is a tool for making speech from text. Use it to create, inform and help, not to harm or deceive.

You may not use Cylindricle to create audio that

• is illegal in India or where you live, or that helps someone commit a crime;
• sexualises children in any way, or shows child abuse. We report such content to the authorities;
• threatens, harasses, bullies or incites violence or hatred against a person or group;
• promotes terrorism, self-harm, or dangerous weapons;
• is sexually explicit content about a real person without their consent;
• is defamatory, or invades someone's privacy, or infringes copyright, trademark or other rights;
• is spam, a scam, a phishing or "vishing" script, or a fake emergency, bank, government or support call;
• spreads false information meant to mislead the public, for example fake news, fake political or election audio, or fake health claims;
• impersonates a real person or organisation, or makes it seem that someone said something they did not. See our AI voice policy;
• is automated calls or messages sent to people who did not agree to receive them.

You may not misuse the service by

• creating several accounts to collect free characters, or using disposable or fake emails to do so;
• using bots, scripts or scrapers to use the service, or going around rate limits, bot checks or plan limits;
• sharing, selling or renting your account or access;
• reselling the voices or our audio as a competing text-to-speech product, API or dataset, or using our audio to train voice or speech models;
• trying to break, probe or overload the service, or to reach other people's data;
• uploading malware or anything meant to harm our systems.

Your duty to label AI audio

If you publish audio where a listener could believe a real human is speaking, and the law or good practice means they should know otherwise, you must make clear that the audio is AI-generated. Our files carry a built-in AI label in their metadata; do not remove it.

Reporting abuse

If you find audio made with Cylindricle that breaks these rules, write to support@cylindricle.com with a link or file and what is wrong. We acknowledge within 24 hours and act promptly on urgent reports, such as non-consensual intimate content, child safety and impersonation.

What we may do

We can refuse a request, delete content, limit or suspend features, close an account, and share information with the police or other authorities where the law needs it or where there is a risk of serious harm. Where it is reasonable we will tell you why and how to respond. Accounts closed for serious breaches are not refunded.
